Bye bye bye 2007. Hi Hello 2008!

It’s been 365.25 days and it’ll be another year!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Suprisingly, i hardly notice the turn of the year. Hmm.. Blame it to the decreasing number of firecracker users this season. Yeah, I’d rather crank our stereo’s volume to the 10 than light up a costly piccolo, five-star, super-lolo, sinturon-ni-hudas, lusis or even a fountain tonight.

Time here: 8:20PM. 3 hours and 40 minutes and it’s 2008! Weehh Ahh! This is the first time that my relatives stayed here to welcome the new year. Yeah, this is surely different from the past years. Ang bilis ng oras! (”Time flies so fast!”). Hindi nyo ba napapansin na parang kailanlang eh December 2006 lang? Maybe because of the many things that happened to me this year.

Jonjon’s plan for the year 2007:

1. To be a bonafide IT Graduate of Mapua Institute of Technology Makati.
2. To be a Cisco Certified Networking Associate(CCNA)
3. To be a Sun Certified Java Programmer.

Too bad. Alas! I had only fulfilled my first plan - to graduate from college. Well, that’s okay. Even though i didn’t became a Certified IT Professional, i had been to two foreign countries and currently employed at Lawson Softwares. Yeah, i should learn to count my blessings and not my mishaps. Good idea isn’t it?

Okay. It’s time for my plan this year: (is it a bad idea to publicize it on the internet? Hmm.. Who cares? )

1. To finish my Java Training and my behind-the-schedule project at Lawson Philippine Solutions and Services Center. www.lawson.com.
2. To have ample sleep; vitamins and minerals to boost my body’s optimum performance. (I usually deprive of these this year. Health is Wealth)
3. To have significant results on my venture with Sunshine Empire www.sunshine-empire.com( Still working hard )
4. To pay our remaining house debt ( Yeah. we’re still paying for it. Got a quarter-million eh? )
5. To be a more devoted Christian by regularly reading the Bible, consistenly writing gospel songs and spreading His Word!

Five. Those are the 5 things i really want to accomplish this year. You can call these my new year’s resolution but for me, these are merely words. Words that’ll make my head hurt when not accomplished. How about you? What’s your new year’s resolution?

Hmm… What else should i write? Should i stop?

This year is truly awesome. Last year, i’m the one who asks for “pamasko” (Christmas gift). Now, i’m the one who MUST give to my relatives and also to my parents. Yeah, this is one helluva-ride.

My whole family is bumming infront of the televison, watching Kamandag at Channel 7. Oops, not all of them. Mommy Beth is currently singing on our Magic Sing outside..”I’m all out of love, i’m so lost without you…”
